MID Devon District Council has announced that it is unable to collect food and garden waste from Sandford, Shobrooke, and Thorverton today, Monday, July 22, due to staff sickness.
It advises that if you have been affected, please leave your waste out and the collection team will return to collect tomorrow.

It adds that occasionally, it may miss areas to collect from due to operational issues or incidents occurring outside its control.
These can include incidents such as breakdowns to collection vehicles, no access due to road closures or inclement weather.
