A DELIGHTFUL coffee shop and art gallery has opened in Crediton.
The coffee shop, @100, at 100 High Street, Crediton, is a dream-come-true for the owners, father and daughter, Eve Drover and Jonathan Elworthy.
Eve explained: “We were inspired by some of the cafes which featured art galleries during our visits to St Ives and thought it would be wonderful to open something similar in Crediton.
“My dad is an artist and some of his work is displayed on the walls.
“Most of the art is from Crediton artists and there is also one section of works from an artist from Exmouth.
“People are welcome to come and see the art, much of which is for sale, and while they are here they can enjoy a tea, coffee and cake if they wish.
“Dogs are welcome, as of course, are children.”
The coffee shop and gallery is open from 8.30am to 4pm, Tuesday to Saturday, and from 10am to 2pm on Sundays.
It is not open on a Monday.
The cafe features some lovely seating areas, some at tables and others on stools near the windows. There are also sofas to sit and relax in.
Coffees available include Americano, Cappuccino, Flat White, Latte and Espresso and the teas, which are mainly caffeine free include English Breakfast, decaffeinated, Peppermint, Red Berry, Chamomile, Lemongrass and Ginger and Earl Grey.
There are also cans and cartons of drinks and crisps available.
The cakes are all freshly-made in-house each day.
Pop in now to enjoy the art, tea or coffee and cake, and support Crediton’s newest business.
