ARTISTS in the Crediton area have been showcasing their work as part of the Devon Open Studios programme.

Creatives across the county have opened their studio doors to welcome visitors for the event, which began on Saturday, September 7 and will run until Sunday, September 22.

The White Room Creative Space in Crediton is exhibiting the work of as many as 14 artists and creatives.

Meanwhile, off Crediton High Street local artist Tim Backhouse is inviting the public to see his sketches.

Abstract artist Lesa Gray’s work is on display north of the town, and Carrie Clark’s local landscape paintings are available to see at her home in Cheriton Fitzpaine.
