SONIA Dixon hosted a very popular Jubilee Party at her home in West Town, Newton St Cyres.

Almost 40 people including her two sons, one of whom had flown over from Hawaii, attended for the occasion, her grandchildren also attending.

Sonia provided a superb buffet and organised a duck race in the nearby stream, which caused a great deal of merriment, as one guest happily got in the stream to help catch the ducks.

Sonia also organised fun games and some dancing on the terrace, while some just took it easy sitting in the sun under the umbrellas.

It was a Jubilee Party which will be long remembered.
