QUEEN Elizabeth’s School in Crediton is lucky to have a hugely talented Theatre Academy as was evident in its recent staging of the production “We Will Rock You” (School Edition) for five nights and a Saturday matinee.
Not only were the cast members outstanding but you cannot fail to mention the producers, directors, musicians and backstage which do so much work which often goes unrecognised.
The musical tells the life of rock legend Queen and all the cast really got into the roles so well.
It was a huge show with so many cast that it must have taken weeks to put together but they all pulled it off for brilliant performances.
Vocally, musically, with brilliant choreography, all who played any part should be rightly proud.
A mention for some of the amazing cast, James Webster as Galileo, Lucy Kelly as Scaramouche, Reece Carter as Killer Queen, Willow Williamson as Kashoggi, Theo Whish as the Teacher, The Bohemians: Caitlin Vice as Oz, Sam Barker as Brit, Jonas Huntshaw as Buddy and Teen Queen: Freya King, Jessica Gregory, Poppy Penrose and Lydia Saunders.
So many more played and sang their hearts out, well done all.
