THERE was a good turnout for the charity Coffee Morning held at Crediton Congregational Church on Thursday, October 12, to coincide with Coffee and Company which is held every Thursday from 10am to 11.30am.

Organiser, Irene said: “We were approached by Hospiscare who asked if we could hold a fundraising Coffee Morning for them.”

A fun “Play Your Cards Right” game, which was organised by Karen Todd, was available for people to have-a-go. The board was donated by Jimmy Wills.

A draw was held with prizes donated by Springfield Emporium, Mel’s Diner, Divine Flowers and Oliver’s bakery. Various helpers from the church also donated prizes.

The proceeds from the event will go to Hospiscare.
