TWICE recently pupils and staff at Landscore Primary School have dressed up.
World Book Day on March 7 saw children dressing up as their favourite book characters and on Friday, March 15, red clothing and crazy hair was the theme for Red Nose Day.
On World Book Day, as well as dressing up, the children swapped classes to listen to the teachers favourite stories and made bunting triangles to decorate the school library.
The Bookery also visited the school with “Top Titles” for 2024 and the children were excited with the new books that they purchased.
Children and staff wore red for Comic Relief and were challenged to style their hair in a crazy way. There were some amazing styles.
Donations collected for Comic Relief came to £211.
Debbie Main, Headteacher, said: “We’ve had great fun recently and the children have all been fantastic with the effort they have shown.
“We love our books at Landscore and had a lot of fun on World Book Day.
“We were also thrilled to raise money for Comic Relief as it is such a worthwhile cause.”
