New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Mid Devon’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Sip Shed, at EX16 was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 5.

And The Tarka Line Grill, at Unit 3, Station Yard, Eggesford, Chulmleigh was also given a score of five on March 13.

It means that of Mid Devon's 138 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 114 (83%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
