ON Saturday, September 15, 10 Deacons were Ordained in Exeter Cathedral by the Bishop of Exeter, The Right Revd Robert Attwell.

Among them was Janet May, formerly of Coldridge.

Janet will serve her title in the Little Dart Team, under the leadership of The Revd Tony Rockey, Rector of Chulmleigh.

Janet who is married to Alfred May, is now living in Chawleigh with their three children Dylan, Tiffany and Brady.

Until recently Janet has been acting as Parish Worker in the parish of North Tawton with the Revd Nick Weldon.

Alfred and Janet have also been involved in the running of the Youth Club there.
