CHAWLEIGH Fair will be held this weekend.

It will take place at the playing field in the village from 2pm on Saturday, June 1.

There will be a bouncy castle, side shows, a raffle and more.

Winkleigh Morris Dancers will perform from 3.30pm to 4.30pm and there will be a children’s disco from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.

Live music from Paul Adams can be enjoyed from 6.45pm to 7.45pm, followed by Jason Toft from 8pm to 10pm.

Children are encouraged to go along in fancy dress. Judges will decide who is the best-dressed in three categories: under-fives, five and over and groups under the age of 16, with cash prizes up for grabs.

There will be a bar, food vans, ice cream and tea and cake available. Some stalls and vendors will take cash only.

No dogs or glass items are allowed at the event.
