EXMOOR National Park is inviting people to channel their love for nature in a themed photography competition for Exmoor Nature Festival.
Julie Colman is Rural Enterprise Co-ordinator for Exmoor National Park Authority (ENPA) and is organising the Exmoor Nature Festival.
Julie said: “We invite you to hone your photography skills and capture an image that you feel both encompasses the beauty of Exmoor and, importantly, also highlights our connection to nature.
“It’s all about celebrating Wildlife and Wellbeing within our stunning National Park, which is the theme of our festival.
“The competition is open to both children and adults and they will be judged accordingly in child and adult categories."
An Exmoor inspired Hue and Harmony jumper (donated by Hue and Harmony one of ENPA’s CareMoor Business Champions) will be given to both the winning child and adult photographer.
The judges will be looking for an image that really encapsulates the Park’s overarching festival theme of wildlife and wellbeing in nature on Exmoor and portrays the value of connecting with nature. Certificates will also be given to second and third prize winners.
Photos should be emailed to: [email protected] (maximum one entry per person, file size under 20MB). The closing date for entries is Friday, June 6, 2025.
The festival runs from May 17 to June 1 and there are more than 50 events taking place all around the National Park, supported by Visit Exmoor.
The line-up includes family fun days, forest bathing and marine life watching, to wildlife trails, Kayak adventures, farm walks and outdoor Yoga.
