NEWTON St Cyres Gardening Club will welcome a well-known guest speaker at its next meeting.
It will welcome Toby Buckland, gardener, garden designer/consultant, BBC Gardeners' World and BBC radio host (BBC Radio Cornwall and Devon - Sundays) and festival host.
Toby will be speak on His Top Favourite Plants and also answer questions from those who attend.
The event will take place at Newton St Cyres Parish Hall (EX5 5BW) on Wednesday, October 2.

In 2008 Toby won RHS Gold and Best in show for his Ethical Garden at Gardeners' World Live.
In 2009 he won the Environmental Award from the Garden Media Guild for a Gardeners' World Special on peat in gardening.
In October 2011, Buckland launched an online plant nursery, Toby Buckland Nurseries, based at Powderham Castle, which has since closed but where he runs a Garden Festival each year.
