CODS is currently working hard to prepare its next production which will take place from Monday, April 10 to Saturday, April 15 in Queen Elizabeth’s School’s Barnfield campus hall at 7.30pm each evening.

“Children of Eden” is written by Stephen Schwartz and some of you may remember previous performances by CODS of “Godspell” and “The Baker’s Wife”.

Some of you may have even been to see a professional company perform “Wicked” and if so you will know that the music you will be listening to in “Eden” will be full of magical tunes.

Heather Barlow is directing the show seven years after bringing “Witches of Eastwick” to Crediton.

Heather does not shy away from presenting shows that may not be well-known to everyone but prefers to take on the challenge of letting the music and story sell itself to our audiences.

CODS is always wanting to accept such challenges, knowing that the end product nearly always produces an evening of high quality and enjoyment.

Heather is joined by Allan Fouracre as Musical Director. Allan has made no secret of the fact that “Children of Eden” is one of his all-time favourite musicals and he has been urging CODS to perform this for many years.

For a musician to have this attitude must again show the quality of the show.

Tickets are now on sale either via the Box Office link on: www.codsonline.com  or by emailing Mike Canning on: [email protected] .

They are priced at £15 for adults, £12.50 for concessions and £10 for Under 16s. Please note that this year there is no matinee performance.
