THE NEXT meeting of the Crediton and Area Vintage Farmers’ Group is set to be held later this month. 

Its first event, which was held on April 16, proved a great success with around 50 retired or semi-retired farmers flocking to The Red Deer pub. 

The second meeting will take place across the road at The Hayloft cafe in the Mole Avon Crediton store from 10am to 11.30am on Wednesday, May 29. 

Farmers who are either retired or semi-retired and over the age of 60 are welcome to go along for a cup of coffee and catch up with old friends and meet new ones.
