AN EVENING of jazz is coming up soon at Crediton Parish Church. 

The Hayne House Hot Five with Tim Herniman and friends will play at Holy Cross on Wednesday, May 8 from 7.30pm. 

The event is described as a “relaxed evening of gypsy jazz” at which attendees can “mix and mingle” and “dance the night away”. 

“This is not a concert, it is a sociable evening to just have a good time and enjoy a night out,” a spokesperson said. 

Tickets cost £15 on the door. Payments can be made in cash or by card. 

Food included in the ticket price from the Baobab Cafe will be available. There will also be a bar with beer, wine and soft drinks. 

Proceeds from the event will go towards the Crediton Parish Church Music Endowment Fund.
