IT is more than 13 years since Exeter Chamber Choir, one of the South West’s premier chamber choirs, performed in Crediton.

The Choir will return to perform in the town for a concert on Saturday, October 12, from 7.30pm.

The concert, entitled “Autumn Allsorts”, will be performed in Crediton Parish Church and promises to include a box of choral delights from Bach to Blue Moon, spanning 500 years.

Music from Monteverdi to Laura Mvula - her own choral arrangement of her debut, award-winning song, “Sing to the Moon” - includes motets by Bach, Bruckner and Stanford, Parry’s dramatic “I Was Glad” and close harmony arrangements by Exeter Chamber Choir’s music director, Andrew Daldorph.

Doors open at 7pm and tickets are available online from Ticketsource (www.ticketsource.co.uk ): £12 for adults when bought online in advance, £15 on the door on the day. Children and students FREE.
