MARVEL at the remarkable variety of rhododendron blooms at the RHS National Rhododendron Show at RHS Rosemoor on Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27.
This show has more than 60 classes covering all types of rhododendrons, trade and advice stands plus magnificent displays of magnolias and camellias.
Exhibitors come from all over the south and west, including the Royal Parks Department, Exbury Gardens and several southwest National Trust properties, plus Caerhays Castle Gardens, Cornwall, famous for its stunning magnolias.
The event opens at 11.30am on Saturday after judging.
Alternatively, explore displays of some of the highest quality bonsai trees at the Bonsai Show South West on Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4, nurtured and styled by the South West members of the Federation of British Bonsai Societies (FoBBS).
There will also be a stand of suiseki (viewing stones), the Japanese art of stone appreciation.

Finally, you can discover a wide variety of rare and unusual trees, shrubs and perennials at the Plant Heritage Spring Fair on Sunday, May 11.
Featuring local nurseries, many of whom are not generally open to the public, gardeners can find special plants for sale under the plant heritage banner.
This popular plant fair has grown in size and interest since it was first held at Rosemoor more than two decades ago and is a must for all keen gardeners and plant collectors.
Exhibiting nurseries include Millwood Plants, Elworthy Cottage Plants, FnF Trading, Gardeners Delight Nursery, Piccolo Plants Nursery, Biocentric Plants, Japonica Plants Marwood Hill Gardens and Taw Valley Organics.
