DEVON Community Foundation wants to hear from unregistered groups in Devon.

The foundation’s State of the Sector project, in collaboration with Devon County Council, aims to gain a clearer picture of the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector in Devon, its strengths and challenges.

Last autumn Devon Community Foundation ran a survey aimed at registered charities and social enterprises. Now it is reaching out to unregistered groups.

This includes informal voluntary groups, clubs and other small groups that have not been registered with the Charity Commission or other regulator.

There is not much data available about these groups in Devon and their huge social value often goes unrecognised and the Foundation wants to develop a full picture of the sector.
