CREDITON Youth Service has a range of events coming up this summer.

The Service is currently seeking views on improvements needed for a new modern park for skaters, bikers and scooters.

The Crediton Skatepark Open Consultation will take place at the Skatepark on Tuesday, July 25, from 6pm to 8pm.

Everyone is welcome, children, young people, parents and carers and adult skate park users.

Graffiti artist Nick Halahan, of Olas Art, will be at the consultation to freshen up the wooden areas with graffiti art and spray painting.

Year Six Transition Day Year Six Transition Day will take place on Thursday, August 3, from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

The Youth Service will be at the transition day, working with year six pupils to build confidence and resilience ahead of moving on to secondary school.

Crediton Youth Club HAF Week One Significant Seams, The Turning Tides Project CIC and Crediton Youth Service are offering eight days of special events as part of Devon County Council’s Holiday Activity and Food Programme.

It will run from Tuesday, August 8 to Friday, August 11, from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

Summer activities for 11-16 year-olds will include, art, craft, gardening, cooking, concertina sketchbook, painting, pool, table tennis, basketball, hula-hoops, water fight, tag, street pool and more!

Crediton Youth Club HAF Week Two

The Crediton Youth Club HAF Week Two activities will include art, textiles, upcycling, and upstyling for 11-16 year-olds.

There will be machine and hand sewing, fabric painting and pattern making, upcycling and upstyling clothes and participation in a region-wide project.

It will run from Tuesday, August 15 to Friday, August 18, from 10.30am to 2.30pm.
