TO celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III, there will be celebrations in Crediton's Town Square the day after the ceremony, a Big Sunday Lunch, on May 7.
Crediton Town Council says it is delighted to be organising another community celebration to mark the occasion.
It will run from 12 noon to 4pm, with both Market Street and Parliament Street closed for the day.
There will be food stalls and musical entertainment organised by Crediton Arts Centre along with a performance by Crediton Town Band to kick off the celebrations.
Similar to the hugely successful Big Sunday Lunch held as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations last year, the Town Square will hold tables and chairs for people to go along and enjoy the musical entertainment, take a picnic or enjoy something suitably scrumptious from one of the surrounding businesses or food stalls.
There will be a range of food stalls from the Three Little Pigs, Big Pot Kitchen, Cornish Crepes and Mid Devon Whippy along with Crediton Town Council's Youth Team selling cream teas, so there will be something for everyone!
The beautiful bunting and wonderful flags produced as part of the Town Team flag project will also be brightening up the Town Square and High Street to really put Crediton in the celebratory spirit.
