CREDITON Police have issued an awareness message to local residents after a burglary to an outbuilding at Upton Pyne near Crediton.

Police said that the burglary occurred overnight on Friday, September 20 and Saturday, September 21, when the padlocks on the door to the outbuilding were jemmied open.

Various items and tools of value were said to have been stolen.
