CHILDREN and members of staff from Landscore Primary School, took part in a sponsored “Santathon” on Friday, December 10 and raised more than £2,500 towards the refurbishment of their playground equipment.

As it was Christmas Jumper Day many of those taking part wore their jumpers for the “Santathon,” which went around Westernlea and Tucker’s Meadow and back to the school, cheered on by supporters.

Some ran the course more than once completing as many

laps as they wanted, with teachers acting as stewards at various places along the route.

Great fun was had by all.
