DESPITE some blustery weather on August 10, St Lawrence Fair, held at St Lawrence Chapel at Threshers, Crediton, raised £350 which will be divided between the chapel and Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).

The Friends of St Lawrence thank all the people who went along on the day and contributed to this amount which exceeded expectations.

The garden had weathered the storms fairly well and some visitors were brave enough to sit outside to eat their tea and cake.
