IF you know your Devonshire Dialect, then you will certainly enjoy attending the Devon Voice Group Spring into Summer “Frawsy”, which will take place at Sampford Peverell Village Hall from 12.30pm to 3pm on Saturday, April 27.

A frawsy is a Devonshire dialect word for a treat or small feast!

Those who go along can enjoy traditional food, music from Devon’s very own Jim Causley and a good ole Dembsher yabber!

All are welcome and admission, plus a cream tea, is free-of-charge, but places are limited and will need to be booked.
