CREDITON Town Council last week reported a serious flood which occurred at about 7pm on Thursday, October 19 in Belle Parade to Devon County Council.

Two essential drains had become blocked by leaves and one local resident was able to clear one of the drains which helped the flood reduce dramatically.

Another drain was totally blocked and was unable to be cleared.
