THE popular Moon Jazz Band will be performing this Friday, August 16, in the splendid setting of the Parish Church as part of the Crediton Heart Summer Arts Festival.

This much loved local band is already well known for its sell out monthly sessions at the Three Little Pigs and other gigs around the county.

This will be their first concert on a much bigger stage, enabling many more people to enjoy their eclectic mix of jazz standards and jazz infused pop songs.

Formed 11 years ago, as part of the regular Moon Jazz Club sessions at the former Buccaneers venue, the eight piece group has built a loyal following to become one of the most successful bands in Mid Devon.

If you are already a fan, or if you haven’t seen them yet, don’t miss the chance to be dazzled by this talented group of local musicians. It’s sure to be a joyful and uplifting evening.

The doors and bar will open at 7pm, and the concert starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are just £8 and can be bought online at: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/the-crediton-heart-project .

The concert is being jointly promoted by the Crediton Heart Project and Crediton Arts Centre, as part of their eight day Summer Arts Festival across three venues.

The Festival finishes this Saturday with “Arts in the Park”, a fabulous day of creative activities for all ages in Newcombes Meadow, including craft, drumming and circus skills workshops, street theatre, a craft and food stalls.
