LAST year’s Morchard Bishop Vintage Rally and Family Fun Day was a washout, but this year’s event had fine weather and the crowds went along.
There was something for everyone at the event held at The Playing Field and Sports Club in Wood Lane on Saturday, August 3.

After the opening Banjo Brian kicked off the entertainment, which was followed by children’s race, ferret racing, Copplestone Choir and even egg throwing!

There were vintage cars, tractors, motorcycles, static engines and even a steam boat!
Also there was face painting, inflatables, a barbecue, cakes and refreshments, craft stalls, children’s games, welly wanging, tombola, stalls from local organisations and so much more.
There was a display of delightful animals from Lindfield, which operates a traditional mixed working farm, offering a safe work style environment for anyone with a disability. This included a Highland calf, donkeys and sheep.
