DURING the early hours of Tuesday, August 9, Crediton Police report that officers were called following someone trying the door handle of a property in Yeoford.
A police spokesperson said: “This has understandably worried the occupants.”
The spokesperson continued: “We have suffered a spate of non-dwelling burglaries across our policing area (Morchard Bishop, Cheriton Fitzpaine and Hittisleigh) and would like to remind residents to keep their properties secure.
“The weather is currently very warm and understandably people want air circulating, but please ensure that doors are locked.
“If you see anything suspicious, please report it.”
