THE Witheridge fire crew attended a road traffic collision near Kennerleigh, Sandford during the evening of Friday, January 5.

A request was made to Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service to attend from Devon and Cornwall Police at 6.26pm.

Devon and Cornwall Police asked for assistance with the road traffic collision because the report said that the vehicle had left the roadway with one person still trapped within. 

Once in attendance, the crew confirmed that the occupant of the vehicle was free and clear.

The crew got to work making the vehicle safe and provided scene safety before handing the incident over to the Police.
