THERE has been a lot of police activity in Crediton this morning, Thursday, February 22.
Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed that it executed a drugs raid at an address in Spruce Park during the morning.
Police activity was also seen in Union Road and Searle Street.
Crediton Police Community Support Officer Lisa McMillan took to social media this afternoon and said: “Misuse of Drugs Warrant conducted in the Spruce Park area in Crediton. #drugs #warrant #police #communityissues .”
With it she attached a picture of a Police Notice which reads: “Local police officers have taken action against crime in this area today.
“This action has been carried out in response to information received from your community.
“If you have any information, which you think may be useful, please contact the independent charity Crimestoppers.
“All calls will be treated in confidence. You do not have to give your details and Police will not contact you.”
The Crimestoppers number is also listed, 0800 555 111.
It adds: “If you have concerns regarding your community or otherwise wish to contact your Neighbourhood Policing Team you can ring them on 101 or via the website: www.devon-cornwall.police.uk .”
