WELLPARKS Hill between the Tesco roundabout and Lords Meadow Industrial Estate in Crediton is currently closed to traffic due to a single vehicle road accident, which occurred earlier this morning, Friday, December 29.

Crediton Police confirmed that the driver of the vehicle suffered from a medical episode which resulted in the car coming to rest on top of a safety barrier.

A recovery crew at the scene is waiting for a specialist vehicle to help remove the vehicle from the top of the barrier.

It is hoped that the road will re-open later this morning.
