THREE cubs, all members of the 1st Chulmleigh Cub Scouts have been presented with the highest award for Cubs.

George Davey, Mid Devon Scouts Assistant District Commissioner, presented Silver awards to the recipients at a ceremony held on December 9.

Hayley Hardy, 1st Chulmleigh Group Scout Leader, said that local residents had fought hard to resurrect Scouting in Chulmleigh and that she was thrilled that three of the Cubs had achieved Silver awards.
