A MAN has died following a collision involving two vehicles which happened on Friday, May 26 on Post Hill Road, Tiverton.

Police were called at approximately 2.15pm to the incident.

Roads Policing officers attended along with South West Ambulance, Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue and a Devon Air Ambulance.

As a result of the collision, a man who was in his 80s, was confirmed deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

Two other people were treated for minor injuries.

The road was closed whilst officers from the Roads Policing Unit and Forensic Collision Investigation Team conducted a full examination of the scene.

Officers from the Specialist Operations Roads Policing Team would like to thank those members of the public who assisted at the scene and are appealing for any witnesses not spoken to at the location, particularly those with Dashcam of the collision, to come forward quoting log 500 of May 26.
