DEVON and Cornwall Police are investigating a spate of burglaries in Crediton area village communities.
Businesses in our community have suffered burglaries over the past few nights.
Church Street Stores at Morchard Bishop was broken into between 9pm on Tuesday, February 4 and 8am on Wednesday, February 5.
The shop till was found on February 6 in a field near Bugford.
An appeal for CCTV footage and if anyone saw anyone acting suspiciously has been issued.

Lapford Cross Garage MOT Centre was broken into between 4.30am and 4.50am on Wednesday, February 5.

Copplestone Farm Shop was broken into between 3am and 6.30am today, Friday, February 7.

A dwelling burglary took place in Newton St Cyres at approximately 9pm on Wednesday, February 5.

Boots Pharmacy in Crediton High Street was broken into on Monday, February 3.
Ashreigney Council has publicised that the theft of valuable power tools were reported stolen in Ashreigney late on Thursday, February 6 or during the early hours of this morning, Friday, February 7.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers are currently investigating these incidents.
“If you have any information or recall seeing anything suspicious, on or around these dates and times, please get in touch using the 101 number, quoting the relevant reference number.”
