The A377 was closed to traffic in both directions due to a serious accident between Higher Road, Crediton and Dulings Meadow, Copplestone at about 1am this morning, Wednesday, August 16.

No confirmation has been given as to when the road will re-open.

It is not known if anyone is hurt or injured.
