A ROYAL British Legion “get-together” was held at Crediton Rugby Club on Friday, June 14.
Jane Sansom, Crediton RBL Poppy Appeal Organiser and Branch Treasurer, said: “A total of 28 members and non-members enjoyed the evening over a drink and some excellent refreshments.

“Thanks go to all those who attended and to the Rugby Club.
“We hope to repeat such an occasion in August and it will be advertised in due course.”
She added: “With the sale of D-Day badges (a few still available) the Poppy Appeal to-date for this year, which ends on September 30, is now £15,384.”
