FIREFIGHTERS were called to the Denis Brinicombe Group premises at Fordton, Crediton, on Monday morning (February 5) when there was an incident with a chemical reaction.

A spokesman for Brinicombe’s said this could not be explained but because it was a chemical reaction and to make sure the staff were safe, the fire service was called and stayed there for a good part of the morning.
