SWIMMERS from Crediton and District Swimming Club have had great success recently at the Life Centre in Plymouth. 

Over 300 swimmers from across Devon attended the 50m sprints on June 9, with Crediton being one of the smaller clubs.  

We had 10 swimmers representing the club and every swimmer had to compete in the four 50m events (backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle).  

We achieved two first-place, two second-place and seven third-place finishes. 

Many swimmers achieved some large PBs, some by as much as 10 seconds! 

Meanwhile, the Devon Developments on June 8, 15 and 16 included the 100m, 200m, 400m and 1500m events.  

We had six swimmers competing at the developments and we achieved eight first-place, eight second-place and two third-place finishes.
