PHILLIP Moffat took top spot in the week's mid-week stableford with 39 points on Wednesday, May 29. 

The partnership of Liz Guildford and Di Parson scored a brilliant score of 35 points the following day to finish first in the ladies’ Greensomes competition while the pair of Rebecca Aven and Jill Yates scored 26 points to finish second. 

In the nine-hole stableford it was Kate Cornish who scored 19 points to finish top. 

On Saturday, June 1 we saw the annual 36-hole Kirton Pair open which saw the pair of David Stunt and Paul Webb from Weymouth Golf Club scoring 80 points to take the overall prize with the pair of Bryan and Graeme Amos from Crediton scoring 79 points to finish second.  

The best morning round was taken by David Hill and Paul Sandercock as they shot 39 points while the best afternoon round was Adam Hull and Ken Bones who scored 44 points. 

The next day, Angela Storey and Martin Storey scored 44 points to defend the Cynthia King Robinson Bowl.
