A TAG Rugby Festival, which was held at Hayward’s Primary School, Crediton involved more than 60 players from six local schools.
The primary schools taking part were; Hayward’s, Thorverton, Brampford Speke, Landscore, Newton St Cyres and Stoke Canon.
Each team was drawn a country and played in the corresponding fixtures of the "RBS 6 Nations" tournament.
There was a great atmosphere on finals day and the winners were Landscore Primary School representing England. The runner-ups were Newton St Cyres Primary School, representing Scotland.
There was also a coveted award for "Fair Play" which was won by Thorverton Primary School, representing France.
The idea of a tag rugby festival was instigated by Stella Baron, San Poulton and Scott Baker to promote more regular tag rugby between schools.
