A LOCAL woman will be running the Virtual London Marathon on April 23 in aid of local cancer care charity FORCE.

Margaret Hawman says that she has decided to run from the FORCE Cancer Centre to Dawlish Warren along the Exe Estuary Trail and back to the FORCE Cancer Centre.

In total she will run 26.2 miles.

Margaret explained: "I am running it as seven years ago I finished my treatment for Cancer and without the help from FORCE I would not be able to run the marathon."
