CREDITON Rugby Club recently celebrated the end of another wonderful rugby season.
Our Junior section has had a fantastic season across our girls, boys and mixed teams.
We have 11 teams in our Junior section and it was wonderful to see everyone together to celebrate the season across the age groups.
The Junior Section continues to grow in size and we now have a vital junior committee structure in place to support all our many volunteer coaches and helpers.
Each is making a difference to ensure the smooth running of this massive Community Club.
We were delighted to have Roger Holloway, Club President, to present the medals and trophies to our players, along with Lily Plowman who started in our U14 girls team and is now playing for England, with three caps.
The Clubhouse was bursting as each team, accompanied by their families heard an account of their team’s season.
It was then out for photos and up on to the main pitch for a club complementary barbecue and rugby fun in the sun, while the next team received their awards.
At the end of all the presentations, the main pitch was a sea of smiling faces and happy players all having fun.
It was a true delight to see, and the Committee at CRFC would like to thank all the volunteers who give up so much of their time to get involved and support us to provide a safe, happy environment for our young people to develop and grow.
The Club continues to grow in size and strength, so please do get in touch if you feel you would like to support the fantastic work we do in supporting our young people in Crediton and surrounding villages.
