CREDITON angler Mike Izzard recorded a very impressive bag of 18 fish at Creedy Lakes fishery in Crediton last week.

Fishing from the far bank, and using his favourite surface method of fishing, Mike tempted an impressive top pair of catches - a mirror carp scaling 19lbs 4oz together with a 21lbs 4oz common.

Another local angler, Steve Tancock of New Buildings, had some nice runs whilst fishing on the far bank casting out into open mid-water depths and managed to tempt two nice doubles with the best weighing 18lbs.
