A MEN’S Fourball Better Ball Open Stableford competition was played in glorious conditions at Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday, May 19.

Overall winners, with an incredible 50 points, were Dan Hudson and Matt Parry. In second place were James Williams and James Stacey with 46 points and third place went to Kevin Cornwall and Alan Searle with 45 points.

The best visitor prize was awarded to Paul Skidmore and Richard Reid from Dawlish Warren with 43 points.

The ladies entered an individual stableford competition and the winner of the Silver Division was Penny Deakin with 36 points, Frances Harbon was second with 33 points after countback from, in third, Sue Stanbury.

The Bronze Division was won by Mary Keir with 28 points, in second with 27 points was Janet Edwards and Babs Beaney was third with 23 points.
