RICK Eidam stole the show at Downes Crediton Golf Club by scoring a nett 62 (eight under) to take the Senior’s August Medal and Division Two prize.
In Division One John Cann scored a nett 67 (three under) to take the Division One prize.
The Junior Open was played on Tuesday, August 8 and a superb score by Finley Lees from Stover Golf Club with a nett 59 (11 under) saw him take home the Division Two prize.
In Division One Archie Griffths, from Sidmouth Golf Club scored a nett 71 (one over) to take the prize and Sam Olliff from Honiton Golf Club scored a gross 78 (eight over) to take the best Scratch.
Ray Jones from West Lancashire scored 22 points to win the nine-hole competition.
Ken Bones of Crediton scored 41 points to win the mid-week stableford on Wednesday, August 9.
Joyce Gilg scored 41 points in the Ladies County Stableford Nine on Thursday, August 10 to take the top spot while Angela Storey finished in second with a score of 39 points.
In the nine-hole competition Norma Barry scored 22 points to take the prize.
Tony Wonnacott won the nine-hole Thursday stableford with a score of 22 points.
On Friday, August 11, Downes Crediton’s Assistant Professional Ollie Greenslade held a four-player team two scores to count stableford competition to celebrate his 30th birthday.
The team of Martin Garnsey, Simon Baker, Graham Browne and Neil Wood scored a fantastic score of 90 points to claim top spot, while the team of Gerry Hodder, Di Botterill, Tony Sykes and Fran Shrubsole scored 89 points to take second place.
The August medal and Submariner’s shield was won by Adrian Cram on Saturday, August 12, who scored a nett 66 (four under) and he also claimed the Division Two prize.
Duane Greenslade scored a nett 68 (two under) to take the Division One prize and in Division Three, Kevin Perry scored a nett 67 (three under) to take top prize.
This year’s winners of the mixed Tomkins trophy on Sunday, August 13 was the pair of Peter Stunell and Shirley Stunell who scored 48 points.
