A FOURBALL better ball stableford competition was held at Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday, January 27.

The winners of Division One were Kevin Cornwall and Alan Searle with an outstanding 49 points.

Norman Heslop and Reggie Wonnacott were second with 46 points and Chris Hurley and Adam Cook were third with 46 points.

Mark Bennett and Martyn Letchford were fourth, also with 46 points.

Division Two was won by Stuart Brealy and Bill Tucker with 44 points after count back from, in second Steve Browne and Brian May, also with 44 points.

Brothers Steve and John Latham were third with 43 points and Simon James and Matt Chamberlain were fourth, also with 43 points.

The ladies section played an individual stableford with a little twist and the winner of the front nine holes was Marcia Collett with 31 points and Clare Salter was second, also with 31 points.

Petra Byatt had the best back nine score with 31 points and Judith Ezard was second with 29 points.

The overall winner was Sue Stanbury with 66 points and Sue Williams was second with 59 points.
