CREDITON Youth U15s took on Twyford Spartans at Lords Meadow on Saturday, March 15.

They ran out 2-1 winners in a fairly physical affair. Seb Roche grabbed both goals, the first of which was a dipping shot from thirty yards, and the second came after a lovely flowing team move.

After last week’s plate disappointment, the U13s bounced back with a 5-1 victory over Axminster. Jayden Saunders scored two, Elliot Fee, Freddie Peake and Keaton Spokes getting the rest of the home side’s goals.

It was a tough morning for the U11s who lost out to a very useful West Exe side.

Away from home the big game in the U16s league saw Alphington edge it 3-2 in a tight affair, Luke Cassar and Zach Mildon getting the goals.

The Crediton coaches were really impressed by their lads’ performance and the way they kept their discipline.

The U14s lost out 4-2 away at Bradnich with Archie Delling and Will Hopkins on the scoresheet for them.

Sunday saw the league cup semi final for the U16 girls away at Buckland Athletic.

The tie finished one each at full time with Chloe Curtis getting the goal for the Credy girls. Unfortunately, they lost out 4-2 on penalties to deny them a cup final send-off.

The U12 Blues girls had to settle for a point away at Ottery St Mary as they shared eight goals. Imogen Treen led the scoring with a brace, with Alexi Fricker and Mollie Carr also on target.

In the top-of-the-table clash at Lords Meadow, the U18s entertained Alphington. Both sides had to settle for a point as the game finished one each. Louis Garnsworthy was on target for the home side.
