THE Crediton Youth FC U15s thought they had the points in the bag at 4-2 up against Broadclyst, only for the visitors to turn things around to go 5-4 in front.
Amazingly, the Crediton lads responded late on and ran out 7-5 winners.
Zak Cheriet was on fire grabbing six goals, with Joseph Walter getting the other.
The U14s hosted Bradnich Youth and lost out 4–1.
It was a similar story for the U13s who lost out in their Plate semi-final by the same score to Lympstone Lions, Jayden Saunders getting the goal for the home side.
There were another three points for the U12s as they returned with a 5-0 result from Starcross Dons. Amongst the goals for them were Edward Petherick, Jacob Jones, Joseph Charlesworth and Radu Mototolea.
The U11s lost out away at Colyton with Parker Ambrosio getting their goal.
It was another fine morning for the U10s as they hosted sides from Clyst Valley.
Sunday saw the U16 girls edge out their local rivals Stoke Hill 2-1, Chloe Curtis and Evie Lewis grabbing their goals.
It was another good weekend for both U12 girls sides. The Blues edged out Stoke Hill 2-1 at Lords Meadow, with Alexi Fricker and Amelie May getting their goals.
The U12 Youth girls put four past Torquay United Community Sports Blues without reply. Izzy Steward led the way with a hatrick, with Neneh Richards completing the scoring.
After many away journeys, the U8s hosted sides Starcross Dons and Twyford Spartans. It was one win and one defeat for them.
The girls put in a great team performance with Amelia Holland grabbing the goals in their win.
