TEDBURN St Mary Football Club is in the unusual position of seeking two new managers for the 2023-24 football season.

After 12 years at the helm as first team manager, Jamie Hawker left earlier in the season to look for new challenges, and the team operated with a caretaker manager for most of the season.

The team currently play in Division Two of the Devon and Exeter League.

The second team manager will be leaving his post at the end of this season after two seasons in charge. The team currently play in Division Eight of the Devon and Exeter League.

Tedburn St Mary FC is a well established club with some excellent facilities.

It boasts two full-size pitches, three youth pitches, and a large car-park for up to 100 vehicles.

Its well looked after grounds are the envy of many.

It also hosts a Devon Air Ambulance landing site on behalf of the local Parish Council.

Only a 15 minute drive from Exeter and Crediton the club offers lots of potential for both experienced and less experienced managers.

Rod Hawker, Chair, said: "As a club we encourage the development of younger age players, and as such would be particularly keen to hear from people with experience at playing or managing at a higher level than the club currently play, to support the learning and development experience for all players, as well as being able to introduce similarly experienced players offering the right role-models to our younger members.

"The club committee is dedicated to the club’s further development and appreciate a stable management team in helping to facilitate that development."
