THE heavy overnight rain on Friday night (October 18), put pay to many Crediton Youth FC fixtures, with all of the following day’s home programme being wiped out.
Away from home the U16’s returned from West Exe Youth with a 5-0 result. Oli Baker with two, Luke Cassar, Rhys Ebdy and Zach Mildon getting the goals.
The U14’s had to settle for a point as they played out a 2-2 draw at Whipton Youth.
Luke Wadey scored with a 30-yard screamer and Jimmy Orchard was also on target.
It was another good morning for the U12’s as they returned from Rockbeare Rockets with another three points following a 7-2 victory. Joseph Charlesworth led the way with two, and Finn Moore, Jacob Harling, Jacob Sweeney, Jenson Langabeer and Luke Beetlestone were also amongst the goals.
Also getting a useful win were the U11’s at Exmouth Town Raiders. Hugh Swain, Joey Carpenter, Noah Pugsley, and Parker Ambrosio got on the scoresheet for them.
Sunday saw the U18’s take on Okehampton at Lords Meadow.
It was not the prettiest of games, but Crediton Youth U18s still ran out 3-1 winners thanks to goals from Harry Welsh, Jack Perry and Louis Garnsworthy.
